Snazzy Licks- Day By Day
“Day by Day”, is my debut recording for my original solo project- Snazzy Licks. This video features me live looping multiple instruments and triggering different sections of the tune in Ableton Live. In order to organize everything, I began by producing this tune from start to finish in Ableton’s arrangement view. Then to perform this live, I created a scene in session view that was efficient enough to loop and trigger the individual elements seamlessly. The audio from this video was recorded live and in a single take- no “Disney magic” was used in the making of this video. Once everything was recorded, I worked with a sound engineer to mix/master everything, and then the camera operator and I produced the final video.
